Candidate filing for the August 4 election opened Tuesday, February 25, and will close on Tuesday, March 31. To date these candidates have filed with the Ralls County Clerk’s office.

For Ralls County Sheriff – Ronald Haught, Republican, and Brad Stinson, Republican.

For Western Commissioner – John Lake, Republican, and Roger Woodhurst, Republican.

For Eastern Commissioner – Junior Muehring, Republican, and R. C. Harlow,Republican.

For Assessor – Josh Ketsenburg, Democrat.

For Surveyor – Marty Wasson, Democrat.

For Public Administrator – Paula Evans, Democrat.

For Coroner – Gerry Dinwiddie, Republican, and Bob Van Winkle, Republican.
