Letter from Ralls County Presiding Commissioner, Wiley HIbbard

To Everyone Living in Ralls County,
Your safety and well-being are the primary concerns of the Ralls County Commissioners. Thursday, April 9, 2020, we passed an ordinance restating the guidelines set forth by Governor Parson.
This ordinance would not have been necessary if we could be left to ourselves. This is not possible.
The people of Ralls County are being diligent in following Governor Parson's directive. Our ordinance does not add any additional restrictions to those already in place.
Good Friday, the day our Lord died for us. Easter, we celebrate His resurrection. Many of our Church Families have come up with ways to worship and still be mindful of social distancing. There is no reason that these efforts cannot continue.
Please know that we made sure this ordinance did not put any additional restrictions on businesses. Also, other activities that were in compliance with the State order will be in compliance with the county ordinance.
Our diligence in doing the right things is working. Please view this ordinance as a reminder that our perseverance needs to continue.
