Letter to the Editor

My name is Marilyn Berghager, wife of the late Sheriff Ben Berghager. It has been brought to my attention that rumors are surfacing in regards to something Ben supposedly said about Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie and the running candidate, Ronnie Haught.
I know without a doubt that Ben supported each and every one of his deputies. He was proud of the work they performed and was behind then in every way.
I learned Ronnie Haught is planning on running for Sheriff. I plan on supporting his campaign and hope that you will do the same.
I feel that Ronnie is the most qualified to hold the job with over 20 years of experience.
I can say that if Ben was here, he would fully endorse Ronnie Haught for Sheriff.
