Annual Trivia Fundraiser is coming up on March 16th, 2024!!! We had a great event last year and are looking forward to another great night this year!! We are still accepting teams up until tomorrow night, so if you and your friends or co-workers would like a table we would love to have you and your support for our event!! Teams are up to 8 people and donation is $200/table. Please call or email me (Michele Keil) if you are interested!!

Thank you to those that have volunteered to be a round sponsor or have volunteered to help with the event!! We appreciate you!!

Also, thank you to everyone that supported the 2024 Firemen's Ball Auction! It was an amazing event and with your support they raised over $50K for our local fire department!

February Minutes Perry Area Chamber of Commerce

The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce met on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, at The Junction at

6:30 PM. The meeting was called to motion by Michele Keil and 2nd by Kathleen Barnett. All in favor.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all who were present.

The January Minutes and Treasury Report was approved by Kathleen and 2nd by Blake. All in favor.

The Annual Insurance questionnaire was filled out and returned by Michele Keil. Voting for approval

will be held at next month’s meeting.

2023 Memberships:

No new members.

2024 Membership forms and Chamber questionnaire will be sent out in the next coming

week and asking to return by March 15th

. Online forms are also available on our website (perrymissouri.com).

Michele Keil brought up the idea of having annual event sponsors. These sponsors would be

highlighted throughout the year at our Chamber events. Sponsor memberships would be an

additional $100 to the $50 Business Membership. The costs of the membership would need to

cover the costs of the signs for the events. It was decided to call this a “Premium Marketing

Membership”, which will include; the business being highlighted at all chamber events throughout

the year (including signs at the event and social media advertising), Business Spotlight on Social

Media throughout the year and the business will have a premium spotlight on the Chamber’s

webpage for the year. Motion to approve Premium Marketing Membership, Kurt and 2ndBlake. All in

favor.

Ralls/Monroe Paper:

Lake Country Gardens- Jan Garner will be the Business Spotlight for March.

New Design/Branding:

Website-Michele and Blake met with DMO on the 6th of February. They reviewed editing as

Blake will move forward with the website to make any necessary changes. Blake will also be setting

up a Chamber email.

Signs & Branding- Need to get an update from Dustin as he has started on the Billboard

design and Welcome to Perry signs. Once completed, the Chamber is looking for help putting them

up.

Upcoming Events:

Fireman’s Ball Fundraiser- Feb. 24th at The Junction. Donations are due by Feb. 21st. Online

bidding for a table has begun.

Trivia Night Annual Fundraiser- Mar. 16th at The Junction. Event Sponsors are needed. 10

teams have signed up so far. Michelle, Brooke, and Dustin will be getting together for the trivia

questions. Peta volunteered to work at the raffle table. Kirk, Blake and Eva have also offered to

volunteer their time.

Easter Egg Hunt-Mar. 30th at the City Park. The event will begin at 1:00pm. Brooke will order

stuffed eggs. Eggs that will need to be filled are stored in the storage unit.

Food/Drink vendors need to be booked for the following events:

Garage Sales (Memorial & Labor Day weekend)- Munchbox, Coffee

Parking Lot Party- Tenleigh’s Mobile Bar, Baileys Beef

July 4th Celebration- ask the vendors from last year.

Boo Bash- Coffee (Perk)
