$90,000 remains available through Ameren Missouri’s Veterans Fund ahead of Veterans Day
Ameren Missouri announced today an additional $25,000 contribution to its Veterans Fund in partnership with the United Way. Eligible customers, including active-duty military members and veterans, can apply today to receive up to $600 per household when facing challenges paying their energy bills.

In total, more than $90,000 is now available through the Veterans Fund. Interested applicants should call the United Way at 2-1-1 or 1-800-427-4626 to apply. Applicants must provide proof of veteran or active-duty military status and either be past due, have disconnected service or be at risk of disconnection.
“Together with Ameren Missouri, we’re committed to providing the support our veterans need to keep their homes warm and their families safe,” said Michelle Tucker, president and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis.
Since launching in 2018, the Ameren Missouri Veterans Fund has assisted more than 1,250 veteran and military families, providing more than $425,000 in energy assistance statewide.
“When our veterans or military families are facing a financial hardship, we want them to know they are not alone,” said Joe Solari, vice president of customer experience for Ameren. “This fund is just one way to say thank you and to stand beside our incredible military community.”
