Dear Robin Gregg

Thank you for your wonderful article in the August 27 issue of the Monroe-Ralls newspaper 
 featuring Weed Day 2026.

There had been no Weed Day for many years when Kristen Bagwill St. Clair, daughter of Danny 
 and Shirley Bagwill, talked to Clara Myers's daughter about her nostalgia for the event and her 
 memories of being there with her grandmother, Virlee Baldwin. She hoped that we could have 
it again. Encouraged to revive the tradition, Kristen organized and administered a Weed Day at 
 the Myers Farm that creative crafty friends and neighbors loved and it has continued annually.
