Margaret Ann Lake, 82, of New London, Missouri, passed away at 2:30 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Tri County Nursing Home in Vandalia, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 11, 2020 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.

Richard Epperson will officiate. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Center, MO.

Friends and family are invited to Margaret's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be Friday, September 11, 2020, from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.

Margaret was born September 19, 1937 in Louisiana, MO to Charles W. Rule and Madeline R. O'Brien Rule.

She was married to Wayne Lake on July 22, 1978 in New London, MO. He survives.

Other survivors include 8 children, Rita L. Jameson (Gary) of Liberty, MO, Charles Edward Jameson (Debbie) of Columbia, MO, Carol A. Jameson of Columbia, MO, Robert Wesley Jameson (Debbie) of Center, MO, Patricia G. Hart (Ben) of Olathe, KS, LeeAnn Ellis (Gregg) of Frankford, MO, Leslie K. McMillen (Mike) of Frankford, MO and John Wayne Lake (Sharon) of Center, MO, and 1 brother, Charles W. Rule (Wanda). She is also survived by 1 sister in law; Sylvia Rule, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, John Rule, and her first husband, Charles E. Jameson.

Margaret previously worked at the Ralls County Courthouse in New London, MO.

She enjoyed dancing, collecting antiques and cooking. Margaret loved horses and raised half-linger horses and fox trotting horses.

Margaret was a positive person and always had positive thoughts and words for everyone.

Most of all Margaret loved her family and cherished the times she spent with them.

She attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO.

Pallbearers will be Skyler Jameson, Jordan Jameson, Jared Viar, Avery Lynn, Saul Lynn and Andrew Jameson.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
