Pam Asquith Retires

After 34 years at Casey’s General Store, Pam Asquith officially retired in August, 2020.
On July 18, 1986 Pam went to work helping set up the brand new Casey’s General Store in Perry, MO and on July 21, 1986 the store opened. Pam started out making pizza at night, running the cash register and cooking lunch part time, eventually leading to full time in 1991. Pam was “the donut lady” for 25 years, up at 2am and to work by 3:15am, all those years. She eventually cut down to part time again, working two days a week.
Over the 34 years, Pam saw many co-workers and boss’s come and go. She would like to thank each and every one of them for always helping her, whenever needed. A special thank you to Bryan Griffin, who was her side kick on truck days and was always willing to help. Bryan is irreplaceable.
Casey’s has been a lifelong experience for her, meeting so many friends that have been so special to her. Many customers have grown up over the years and now have kids of their own. Pam will miss each and every one of you.
